['klʊːθə 'rɪvə], längster Fluss auf der Südinsel von Neuseeland, 322 km lang, entfließt dem Lake Wanaka, mündet in den Pazifik. Das starke Gefälle wird von zwei Kraftwerken genutzt (bei Roxburgh: 320 MW; Clyde: 432 MW).
